1. The 'Global Language' of Energy Conversion: Circuit Diagrams

A circuit diagram is not merely a pile of wires and componentsโ€”it is the 'universal language' describing the logic of electrical energy transfer. Through standardizedcircuit component symbols, we abstract complex physical connections into clean geometric blueprints.

Scientific Definition:A power source is a device that supplies energy to electrical appliances. It converts various forms of energy into electrical energy, enabling current to flow in a closed circuit.

2. Logical Analysis of Circuit States

  • Closed Circuit (Closed Circuit): The switch is closed, the path is complete, and the appliance operates normally.
  • Open Circuit (Open Circuit): The path is broken at some point (e.g., the switch is open), interrupting the current flow.
  • Short Circuit (Short Circuit): If current bypasses the appliance and directly connects the power source terminals, it is apower short circuit, causing a massive surge in current, potentially destroying the power source or even triggering a fire.

3. Standard Drawing Guidelines

When drawing circuit diagrams, you must follow the"horizontal and vertical"principle. Use a ruler and pencil to ensure neat shapes, evenly spaced components, and never place components at corners.
